Carrie Jenkins
Worship Leader
Carrie Jenkins has been part of the Farmington First family since 1999. She started helping out with worship at our church as a teenager in the youth ministry and has been part of the worship team since. She stepped into the interim worship coordinator role in December 2020 before accepting the worship leader position in October 2022. Carrie received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in music therapy (BMT, MMT) from Drury University and is also currently working as a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) in the NWA area. Her love and passion for reaching people through music helps her fulfill her roles in both worship and therapy settings. When Carrie is not working, she is usually playing video games, bingeing a show on Netflix with her cat, Simon, or attempting to be good at crocheting.
"I am so grateful to be able to use the musical talents God has given me! Sharing in worship with our church each week is something I always look forward to. Seeing something that can be such an individual and personal experience being used in a corporate setting to glorify God and grow His kingdom makes my heart happy!"
